In response to the recent Office of Fair Trading (OFT) market study into Dentistry in the UK, Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH) is rolling out transparent pricing guidelines to all of its 500+ practices to ensure its prices are as clear and easy for patients to understand as possible. The guidelines match a new pricing system at the group, which sees standard rates for day-to-day private services such as X-Rays, fillings, crowns and examinations. |

Matt Jackson, Director of Marketing and Central Services at IDH, commented: “Patient trust is a critical issue for the industry, and our highest priority as an organisation. But the headlines that followed the OFT report show the industry needs to improve its relationship with customers. This has to be tackled, or the reputation of this part of the healthcare system will continue to suffer.
“These guidelines will help all our clinicians offer patients as much choice as possible, as clearly as we can. Our dentists will always offer a written Treatment Plan, confirming what costs are involved for any optional private treatment outside of normal NHS work. This will help our customers make the decisions that are right for them. We believe honesty, good communication and high quality dental care are the best ways to build trust with our patients. With numerous homework sites available on the internet it becomes very hard to choose one that is best suited for your needs. You should ensure the following when finalizing an online service provider for writing your essay for you. For students, do my essay order is an answer to many of their academic challenges and troubles.”
The guidelines are being rolled out across IDH’s practices across the summer, and build on a number of other pilot initiatives the group is working on with the OFT in response to some of their findings.
