Benevolent Fund launches children’s appeal

Benevolent Fund launches children’s appeal
Over half of the families the BDA Benevolent Fund currently helps are on means-tested benefits and therefore some of the poorest people in society.  The festive season puts extra pressure those dentists who are already struggling financially, and the Fund helps them and their dependents with a Christmas grant.

There are an estimated 3.5 million children living in poverty in the UK and this number is expected to increase.  Some children are missing out while others around them have so much. Nobody wants children to feel different from everyone else, especially at Christmas time, while parents try to meet their bills on a shoestring budget.

Over half of the BDA Benevolent Fund currently helps are on means-tested benefits and therefore some of the poorest people in society.  Be it through accident, serious illness or other misfortune, they are left feeling excluded from society and unable
to cope.
The support we offer is funded entirely by the kindness of those in the dental profession.  Please give a gift today and help us to bring cheer to others at Christmas and beyond.  Visit www.bdabenevolentfund.org.uk or send a cheque to:
BDA Benevolent Fund, 64 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8YS.
