BDA reveals line-up for next year’s conference
The British Dental Association (BDA) Conference & Exhibition will take place from 25-27 April 2013 at ExCel, London. Leading aesthetic practitioner from the USA Dr Robert Lowe, specialist endodontist Mr Mark Hunter, and leader in occlusal practice Dr Ian Buckle, are amongst speakers already lined-up to present at it.

Presenting a total of four major sessions, Dr Lowe will address delegates on advanced aesthetic restorations, clinical treatment planning and problem solving, and composite restorative dentistry. Dr Lowe has lectured at all the major dental meetings in the United States and is one of only 50 dentists in the United States to receive Diplomate status on the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. This will be his first lecture in Great Britain.

Also addressing the main auditorium, general dental practitioner and Director of Dawson Academy UK, Dr Ian Buckle, will discuss occlusal principles for daily practice. Whilst this year’s ‘expert endo’ session will be led by Mr Mark Hunter, clinical teacher in restorative dentistry at the University of Manchester.

Further names announced for 2013 include the President-elect of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Dr Julian Caplan; prosthodontics specialists Dr Andrew Dawood and Dr Susan Tanner; Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital, Mr Nicholas Lewis; Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging at the University of Manchester, Professor Keith Horner; and Ian Needleman, Professor and Honorary Consultant in Periodontology at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
