Practice Managers Conference – it’s bigger and better and IT’S BACK!

Following the success of the 2012 Practice Managers Conference, BoD are excited to announce that by popular demand, the Conference is back; but not back with just one conference in one location; this year sees them return to two locations with two spectacular venues.

On Friday 14th June, BoD will be inspiring practice managers in the North when it brings the Conference to Bolton, De Vere Whites. If you’re based in the South, you won’t have to wait too much longer as on Friday June 28th, the Conference will be visiting Reading at De Vere Wokefield Park; another sumptuous venue.

So, is there anyone worth listening to on the line up? Well, BoD has brought together five of the most forward thinking and innovative speakers to keep you entertained, informed and motivated all day.

The conference boasts a jam-packed day full of relevant and insightful content covering topics ranging from ‘taking advantage of media and PR opportunities’ with PR guru Gemma Godman, to ‘how to become an internet-savvy practice’ presented by owner of GDPUK, Tony Jacobs. Your host for the day, Les Jones, Editor of BoD Magazine, will be shedding some light on ‘how to market your practice on a tiny budget’ and if you want to walk away with ‘10 things to do to be a better practice manager’, then Michael Bentley will be presenting this topic in his own unique style. And it doesn’t stop there; Ian Langford, HR Consultant for Peninsula Business Services and presenter extraordinaire, will be discussing ‘how to manage a team and deal with absence’. So one thing you can be guaranteed, is that you’ll be walking away from the conference with a note book full of hints, tips and ideas on how to make an immediate impact on your practice, your patients and your staff.

The conference is open to all members of the practice team; however it is specifically targeted to the requirements of the practice manager role. The cost to attend the conference is £160 per person and includes all refreshments and lunch throughout the day. BoD and Practice Plan members are entitled to a discounted rate of £120 per person. There is also an overnight stay option at an additional cost of £150 per person for all delegates and includes a 3-course dinner and wine and a hearty breakfast. It’s also an ideal opportunity for you to network with other like-minded managers.
