BDA announces result of PEC elections

The British Dental Association (BDA) has announced the results of elections to its Principal Executive Committee (PEC). Eddie Crouch, Stephen Shimberg and Tim Harker were re-elected. With new members Jason Stokes for Eastern and Len D’Cruz gaining the UK-wide seat. They will each serve for three years.
BDA members had to pick from 50 candidates drawn from the whole spectrum of the dental profession. The unprecedented interest in the election saw 44 members contest a single UK-wide seat

• West Midlands – Eddie Crouch (r)
• UK-wide – Len D’Cruz (n)

The Principal Executive Committee (PEC) is the BDA’s governing body and comprises 15 members in total. Annual renewal elections take place with a third of members up for election each year.
