CQC announces its fees for dentists

The CQC has announced that dentists will pay £800 for a single practice and £1,600 for 2-3 practices. There is a sliding scale up to £48,000 for more than 100 locations. The fee is payable in April 2011 and will be payable every year thereafter. |

Where the service provider provides dental services the fee is to be determined with reference to the number of locations at or from which those services are provided, as follows –
1 £800
2 to 3 £1,600
4 to 10 £6,000
11 to 50 £12,000
51 to 100 £24,000
More than 100 £48,000
The new registration fees scheme will come into force for all providers on 1 April 2011.All providers of regulated activities will pay one annual fee. This fee will cover all of their registration and compliance requirements for all of their locations.
