Following Alison Lockyer’s resignation from the General Dental Council (GDC), moves are underway to appoint another member. Candidates from all registrant groups can apply, so Alison’s successor will not necessarily be a dentist. The recruitment will be carried out by the Appointments Commission which is independent of the GDC. |

To be successful in this role, you will be committed to protecting patients and the public, be able to demonstrate sound judgement, grasp complex information and be an effective communicator. You will also enjoy working as part of a team with the GDC executive in the achievement of high performance standards.
