Remember your retention fee says GDC

The General Dental Council (GDC) is reminding all dentists not to miss the 31 December deadline to pay their annual retention fee (ARF) and remain on the register.It is important to remember that if dentists don’t pay, they will be putting their registration at risk. The GDC will not be able to accept any payments received after midnight on 31 December 2011.

The £576 fee for registration with the GDC has been frozen at 2010 levels. Dentists can pay their ARF via the eGDC website, automated payment line or via cheque, bankers draft or postal order. The fee will be collected via Direct Debit on 1 December 2011 for all dentists who have a Direct Debit set up.
